This chapbook was printed in 1975 at Dreadnaught, one of the earliest editions from the press, the piece is an absolute delight. 20 pages plus paper cover. Hand-printed and sewn, the type is foundry Bulmer on Curtis Rag, featuring a 3 colour faceplate. The text is excerpted from Washington Irving's The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent. The original edition was of 200 copies for private circulation, of that run - 8 soft cover and 2 hard cover first edition copies remain. |
