Spectacular Wedding Invitation Suite

At Someone, we appreciated the design/print consulting process with Paul Kawai and Chris Braden on this complex wedding package. Bringing Someone's broad print purchasing expertise to the table made sense. We were intrigued with the powerful design and the challenges the project presented. Working with the designers was flexible and efficient - creative.

We understood Bimal and Natasha wanted the invitations package to connote handmade, authentic, touching. Paul and Chris had produced a brilliant layout embellished with large solids and the thinnest of strokes, vigorous, high contrast effects, a romantic story to complement the formal announcement panels, and rhythmic, playful graphic treatments throughout.

We delivered a beautiful accordion pocket folder designed to carry nested invitations, reply cards and envelope. The 13-piece package was printed 4/4 offset with two PMS and one blind letterpress impression adding dimension throughout. Steadily and in sharp focus, a raft of processes were accomplished including paper selection, digital pre-press, imposition to plates production, letterpress imprinting, die cutting and pockets assembly. Each invitation was assembled by Bimal and Natasha, finished with a heavily debossed belly band and contained in metallic gold A8 envelopes, digitally addressed.

With Paul and Chris directing, Someone met the project's specific goals, determined to add value at every step.

A pleasure.
